What is CSBFP
CSBFP Government-sponsored loan program that offers up to $1,000,000 Term Loan (of which $500,000 for equipment, leasehold improvements, intangible assets and working capital, of which $150,000 for intangible and working capital) to small businesses in Canada.
85% of the loan is guaranteed by the Federal government. Purchases made within the past 365 days prior to the date of the loan approval are eligible for financing. Amortization for all asset classes, including real property/immovable, equipment, leasehold improvement, intangible asset and working capital, up to 15 years.

What is CALA
The Canadian Agricultural Loans Act (CALA) is a federal government program designed to finance farm improvements, and fund the processing, distribution and marketing of farm products.
Individual farmers can receive up to 80% financing (new farmers up to 90% financing) of the asset’s value to a maximum of $500,000 for property assets or up to $350,000 for all other eligible assets. Loan terms are up to 10 years, and 15 years when financing land.
Maximum interest rate on variable rate loans is Prime + 1%; Maximum interest rate on fixed rate loans is the Residential Mortgage Rate + 1%. Eligible assets include land, buildings, construction, machinery, livestock, consolidation, share purchases and crop storage condominiums.

What is SR&ED
The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax incentives are intended to encourage businesses to conduct research and development in Canada. Corporations, individuals, trusts, and partnerships that conduct eligible work may be able to claim SR&ED tax incentives for the year.
There are two tax incentives claim: a deduction against income and earn an investment tax credit (ITC). The SR&ED tax credit provides substantial financial relief by reducing taxable income for R&D expenses. It offers a basic 15% credit for all corporations and an enhanced 35% rate for eligible Canadian-Controlled Private Corporations (CCPCs).

A CMHC (Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation) program that offers insurance incentives for multi-unit residential properties. As low as 5% down with up to 95% loan-to-cost; 50-year amortization, sub-prime interest rates; 10-year terms; Third-party cash flow sanity check ensures positive returns.
The borrower must have minimum net worth equal to at least 25% of the loan amount being requested, with a minimum of $100,000. For insurance applications scoring a total of 100 points or more, CMHC may permit flexibility in net worth requirements.
To qualify for the MLI Select Program, the property must contain at least five rental units. This can be achieved by purchasing a multi-family unit or multiple properties located next to each other (e.g., three detached homes, each with legal suites). For CMHC-insured mortgages, at least one borrower or guarantor needs a credit score of 600 or higher.
